Behind The Gate
Our team is built from the game development industry, veterans who have been creating quality AAA games for nearly 15 years. We are excited to finally shine a light on our new project; Legends Unchained. Legends Unchained is a play-to-earn game based on the Polygon blockchain. We believe that NFTs and video games are the stepping stones toward blockchain adoption for mass audiences. We’ve all lost ourselves once in endless subscription fees to play games and we’ve all heard others claim video games are a “waste of time”. What if the time we spend in those gaming worlds could earn you money, support you financially and be fun. Fun is never a waste of time. This is where gaming is heading with the play-to-earn system. This is where we step in.
Beyond The Gate
The goal for Legends Unchained is to build a world for the community where they can have fun, earn and learn to navigate the crypto space together. We chose the Polygon Blockchain to make this possible for our game. Online games require speed, cheap costs and high throughput. Ethereum isn’t capable of providing all these aspects, but a Layer 2 solution like Polygon can deliver the quality we aim to provide with our products.
First Step
The first release is a solo game mode based on the popular genre of an idle game, also known as an incremental game. This is an important decision made by the team to welcome as many players as possible without hindering anyone with gameplay systems and mechanics. Player inputs are minimal and we also have an auto-run mode for those who don’t want or have the time to play but still earn.
Legends Unchained
Our NFTs are fully hand-drawn and represent a unique Legend.
Every Legend has a matching 3D avatar in-game. Every Legend is playable.
Your character will adventure on its own through procedural dungeon floors to defeat hordes of enemies to try and secure your place on the leaderboard to earn rewards. You will encounter more powerful foes on your path and defeating them will be the only way to progress further into the dungeon.
Be careful, the Gate often opens to a special element floor that will test the battle wits of your Legend.
Each Legend has a chance to be attributed an elemental attunement when minted and this attunement will help you determine if you will be strong or weak against certain elemental dungeons. A Legend with no attunement will perform average in all of them.
What’s next?
The main priority for us was to put a game in the hands of our community to start enjoying their NFT Legends right away. No false promises, no waiting time. Our game will be playable and ready for you. But our ambitions do not end there. We have a roadmap established for the continued development of Legends Unchained and the mysterious world beyond the Gate. Coming very soon after the initial launch will come Multiplayer, an open-world exploration of the Action Role-Playing Game (ARPG) genre, player housing, and a player-driven economy based around NFTs and the game token.
